Coventry United Ladies won the Birmingham FA Womens' County Cup with a 15-0 victory over Birmingham & West Midlands Ladies.
The Red and Green Girls wrap up the County Cup for the first time under the Coventry United banner, having won the competition several times under their previous regime. Jade Brook opened the scoring just 90 seconds into the match finishing off a low cross from Amber Hughes from close range. From there United took control of the game and were 8-0 up at half time, with goals from Helen Dermody, Lois Jefferies Amber Hughes and a delightful lob from Maz Gauntlett sending United into a commanding position at the break.
Although Birmingham came out of the break determined to stop the United dominance, even missing a penalty from Charlotte Fisher as the FA WPL Midlands Division 1 side attempted to swing the momentum away from the Red and Green Girls, they couldn't prevent Jay Bradford's side from further solidifying their supremacy, as Dermody and Brook completed hat-tricks, while Lauren Garner and the returning Callan Barber also found the net on a special night for the club.
