Hall Scores All As United Beat ChichesterDate: 15 April 2018 at 18:31 by Liam Cook
Striker Ali hall found the net three times as Coventry United Ladies returned to winning ways versus Chichester City Ladies at the Butts Park Arena.
After failing to score since the WPL Cup victory at Cambridge in April, Hall ended her goal scoring duck on Thursday night at Cardiff in a 2-2 draw, United's second winless match in a row. The Red and Green Girls bounced back in impressive style with a 3-1 victory on their return to the Butts Park Arena, and the striker continued her return to the scoresheet with a hat-trick. Hall first two strikes were remarkably similar. Both were nodded home from Helen Dermody's corners, as United controlled the first half.
Two minutes after the break, Chichester caught United off guard as Tash Stephens' chipped cross was stabbed home by Jade Widdows. But there would be no comeback, as the Lilywhites failed to deal with the ball in their own box. An attempted clearance struck Hall and found it's way over the line. A classy, composed and controlled 90 minutes was the response manager Jay Bradford was looking, and prepares the girls perfectly for the visit of title chasing Charlton next Sunday.
