WHO IS IT FOR? Those aged 16-18 who want to develop their football playing ability, gain nationally-recognised qualifications and want a sports-based career.

WHO DELIVERS THE PROGRAMME? The programme is managed and delivered by SCL in partnership with the club. SCL delivers the education programme and the club delivers the football development programme.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAMME? It is a 2-year, full-time education and football development programme.

WHAT WILL I STUDY? Over the 2-year duration, players will study a variety of nationally-recognised qualifications* within sport, coaching and fitness managed by SCL. Units studied include: • Principles of Anatomy & Physiology • The Physiology of Fitness • Practical Team Sports • Sports Coaching • Analysis of Sports Performance • The Athlete's Lifestyle • Psychology for Sports Performance • Sports Nutrition Units are subject to change depending on Ofqual approval. Students who have yet to achieve a GCSE grade 'C' or above in Maths or English will continue to study Functional Skills or GCSE in the required subject(s).

WHERE WILL I STUDY? You will study at The Academy's education facilities based at the club. The education programme is delivered by SCL, an Ofsted Grade 2 (GOOD) private education provider, specialising in sport. Studying with SCL is your alternative to going to college and provides the best environment for you to succeed.

WHAT TO EXPECT? A chance to compete in the ECFA or FA women's premier reserve/development teams. Qualified coaching from FAqualified coaches and a chance to develop as a player aswell as gain national recognised sport qualifications.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? The programme is fully-funded.
